Verifying the correctness of the information is a skill, in which four factors are important: -

1-Look with suspicion:  If any information is coming to you indirectly through other means, then it is mandatory to reveal the doubt to check its truth. If you are not expressing a doubt, it means that you are accepting the veracity of that information. There is a saying that the credentials are valid. That is, no proof is required for direct. But what is indirect? It needs proof.

2-Using logic properly:  A lot of information comes from your surroundings. Many things have been said in them. And that thing is said based on something else. Everywhere you try to persuade someone.

Here you see on what basis it has been said. On what facts has it been said? What is the evidence for that? If someone tells you that you will die, then you will definitely ask what is the basis of this? What's the fact? What is the proof?
